A seminar on trade facilitation was held in Ashgabat

A seminar for representatives of veterinary and phytosanitary authorities on trade facilitation in Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat in a hybrid format.

The seminar was held within the framework of the tenth phase of the BOMCA Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia, and its purpose was to assist in the evaluation of trade facilitation measures.

Latvian experts from the Food and Veterinary Service shared their developments based on the results of legal and trade analysis in accordance with the provisions of the WTO Agreement, as well as drafts of a plan of measures designed to simplify trade procedures, the edition ”Turkmenistan: The Golden Age" reports

The seminar was the final in a series of events held within the framework of this topic in Turkmenistan in 2022.
