Ashgabat to Host International Transport Forum

Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat will host the international conference dedicated to development of transport and transit corridors and their interconnection on July 18-19.

The forum will discuss topical issues on post-pandemic recovery of international transport and their adaptation to the new realities, further development of effective transport and transit corridors, as well as strengthening of cooperation between government agencies of Turkmenistan, international organizations and major logistics companies.

The conference and the business meetings on its sidelines will allow participants to learn more about investment opportunities in the field of international transportation and consider prospects for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan announced on Tuesday.

Representatives of the Turkmen government, heads of national and international transport companies, logistics organizations and financial institutions are expected to participate in the international forum.
