USAID on February 2 opened registration of applications for private Turkmen companies, planning to export the production or to co-operate with the foreign companies which carry out projects both in Turkmenistan, and in the international market.
Competition of applications is conducted within the limits of the program on introduction and certification of systems of management under standards ISO 45001 Labour safety and safety precautions and ISO 14001 Environment Management.
The organisations which are interested in bringing their production to the international level, increasing labour productivity and competitiveness growth, and also in participation in the state tenders where presence of certificates ISO is required, can register the applications by the reference.
The project is attractive to manufacturers who work in light industry branches, including footwear manufacture, manufacturing of leather products, means of household chemical goods, hygienic production, and also carpet weaving, food and textile industry. The enterprises from other branches also can submit their applications.
The obtaining of standards is the certificate of for clients that production released by the enterprise corresponds to all criteria of quality, ecological compatibility and safety. Presence of documents ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 considerably facilitates to the companies of Turkmenistan the conclusion of transactions in the international market.
As a result of selection which will occur on a competitive basis under the filled questionnaires, will be chosen four enterprises, 50 which % of expenses on introduction and certification of standards will be covered by projects USAID Future Growth Initiative (FGI) and Safe Migration in Central Asia (SMICA).
The deadline to submission of applications for participation in the project is 18:00, February, 19.
