President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree PP-849 on July 09, 2021 on creation of Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
According to the Decree, Türkmenhowaýollary Agency (Turkmen Airlines), Türkkmendemirýollary Agency (Turkmen Railways), Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency (Turkmen Telecommunications), Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency (Turkmenautotransport) and Türkmendeňizderýaýollary Agency (Turkmen Sea and River Routes) have been transferred to the new Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
