Effective January, 2021 staff of the accounting department of Dashoguz airport to receive only half of their salaries

Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that since 4 January 2021 employees of the accounting department of Dashoguz airport have switched to a part-time working mode. Despite the fact that most of them continue to work full time, they will be paid only half of their previous salaries.

Staff have been made redundant in other organizations of the city, including the building and construction authority, the stadium, municipal medical facilities (including accounting departments) as well as offices of the oil and gas sector and the police.

Instead of discussing the situation in construction sites or manufacturing facilities, executives and chief economists of all enterprises are now focusing on headcount reduction. Downsizing will take place until March, 2021.

“Chronicles of Turkmenistan” previously reported that state-run organizations and agencies of Dashoguz were instructed to lay off staff and minimize costs effective 1 January, 2021.

It was also reported that effective 1 January, 2021 large-scale staff redundancies would be carried out in Turkmenistan’s police force pursuant to the order of the higher-ranking authorities. The post Effective January, 2021 staff of the accounting department of Dashoguz airport to receive only half of their salaries first appeared on Chronicles of Turkmenistan.
