Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For April 4-11: $24.3 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $24.3 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the United Arab Emirates and Turkey purchased gasoline produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, while the companies from Turkey, Bulgaria and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas of Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) and Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) state concerns, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

Additionally, the businesses from Russia purchased one-colored and jacquard terry products, and cotton yarn for foreign currency.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased polypropylene, granulate and agglomerate of polypropylene film, calcined petroleum coke, off-grade polypropylene Turkmenaglomerat produced at the Turkmenbashi refinery, HDPE of Türkmenhimiýa and hand-made carpets for more than 45.5 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 63 transactions last week.
