Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For December 26-31: $19.9 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to more than $19.9 million, the country’s official media reported on Sunday.

Businesses from Afghanistan and Azerbaijan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel produced by the enterprise of the Turkmennebit State Concern and diesel fuel produced by the Seydi oil refinery for foreign currency.

The cotton yarns produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan were also sold for foreign currency last week.

Companies from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) purchased cotton yarn worth nearly 9 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 16 transactions last week.
