Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For January 2-8: $24 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to nearly $24 million, the country’s official media reported on Sunday.

Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas and technical sulfur produced by the enterprises of the Turkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern. Additionally, the Azerbaijani businesses procured cotton yarn.

Companies from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) also purchased cotton yarn worth more than 12 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 16 transactions last week.
