Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For March 21-26: $62.2 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to $62.119 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the United Arab Emirates, China, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased base oil, heating oil with a low sulfur content, petroleum coke, polypropylene and technical kerosene produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, while the companies from Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased diesel fuel produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

Additionally, the companies from the UK and Kyrgyzstan purchased plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, and licorice root for foreign currency.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi refinery, high-density polyethylene of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern and hand-made carpets for more than 15.6 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 52 transactions last week.
