Export Trades at Turkmen State Exchange Exceed $31 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $31.236 million.

For foreign currency, businesses from Russia, the UAE, Switzerland, Cyprus, Afghanistan and other countries purchased liquefied gas, polypropylene, aviation kerosene, petroleum bitumen, diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, while the UK-based companies bought ECO-93 gasoline produced by the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern.

The Russian businesses purchased Turkmen polyethylene, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Saturday.

Companies based in the Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan bought colorless sheet glass, one-colored and jacquard terry products, and cotton yarn for foreign currency.

The business circles of Switzerland, the UAE, Armenia purchased cotton yarn for over 3.765 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased cotton fiber and plastic products worth over 63.144 million manats.

State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 40 transactions last week.
