Hundreds of School Bazaars, Mobile Outlets Open in Turkmenistan

Enterprises of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan on Tuesday opened 410 school bazaars and mobile outlets in preparation for the 2021-2022 academic year.

There are 55 school bazaars and mobile outlets in Turkmenistan’s capital of Ashgabat, 48 in Ahal velayat, 41 in Balkan velayat, 134 in Mary velayat, 79 in Lebap velayat and 53 in Dashoguz velayat, where buyers will be able to purchase school uniforms and school supplies, the country's official media reports.

For the convenience of the customers, the school bazaars and mobile outlets were opened nearby central bazaars, state outlets and residential buildings.

The school bazaars mainly include products of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Publishing Service and Turkmen businesses.

The special school bazaars open annually in August and last until early September. The stores mainly sell green dresses and white shirts, tahya (turkmen national skullcaps), various school bags, notebooks, diaries and other school supplies.
