President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Monday got acquainted with the construction of a complex of facilities with a shopping and entertainment center, which will be commissioned on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.
The Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Dovran Hudayberdiyev reported to the Head of State on the progress of the complex’s construction, its facilities and their features, as well as on the conditions that will be created in residential buildings within the complex, according to the TDH news agency’s report.
Turkmen President got acquainted with the construction of residential buildings and with their design. The planning of all houses and rooms in the buildings, decoration of the premises and improvements are carried out on the basis of future residents’ orders. The buildings also contain 638-square-meter apartments and flats with 6 and 7 rooms for large families.
The Head of State then got acquainted with the construction of the massive shopping and entertainment center under construction on the territory of the complex. Projects related to the specifics of the Center's facilities, their internal and external design, and materials that are used in the construction were presented to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Head of State proposed to name the new complex as “Ashgabat” considering its location in one of the most beautiful corners of the capital and including a number of social facilities.
This will be a worthy gift for the 140th anniversary of the founding of the capital, the Head of State emphasized and gave relevant instructions to the Mayor of Ashgabat.
In addition, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited a complex of specialized facilities under construction near Kopetdag mountain by order of the Türkmen Alabaý Itleri (Turkmen Alabai Dogs) International Association, and the buildings of “Türkmenbaşy” and “Senagat” banks under construction in the southern part of the city.
