New Turkmenistan’s University to train professional business professionals

On 17 May Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylydzhov informed President Gurbanguly Berdymukahmmedov that a higher educational establishment which will be training highly qualified economists and personnel for a private sector is scheduled to be set up in Turkmenistan.

The state information agency TDH reports that the President emphasized that the number of small and medium size businesses and enterprises in Turkmenistan is increasing and for this reason a new University with majors in Management, Marketing and other fields is in demand according to present-day requirements.

“We need to train a generation of business leaders meeting international requirements who have global vision, strategic thinking, are social responsible and capable of contributing to the development of the community and the home country”, the head of the state said.

Let us recall that in late 2018 President Berdymukhammedov approved the Concept for the development of digital economy for 2019-2025.

In March it became known that the digital economy training and research centre will be set up in Turkmenistan.

In April Purli Agamyradov, Deputy Prime Minister overseeing science, education, healthcare and sports briefed the President that the courses on the basics of digital economy for executives of all levels had been designed.
