On December 21, 2020, in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, a presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan "Traditions of Turkmen Statehood", published in Turkish, was held, informs the web-site of the MFA of Turkmenistan.
The presentation was attended by the chief editors of print media, rectors, teaching staff and students of universities of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of the Turkmen media.In addition, prominent scientists of Turkey took part in the event via videoconferencing.
During the presentation, the speakers listened to the speeches of the rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture A.Aydogdyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan T.Oral, rector of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli B.Orazdurdyeva, Chairman of the Turkmen-Turkish Friendship Society H.Yudzheli, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Adalat" M.Nuryev, as well as scientists of the Turkish Republic.
All speakers noted the uniqueness of this work of the President of Turkmenistan, which acquaints readers with the cultural characteristics and rich spiritual world of the Turkmen people.It was emphasized that the book contains many examples of the similarity of traditions and legends of the ancestors of the two peoples.
This publication has become an important link in the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations, providing good opportunities for the wider Turkish scientific community studying the life and traditions of the Turkmen people.
At the end of the event, the participants adopted an Address to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
