Representatives of Turkmenistan veterinary service participated in a regional seminar

The representatives of Turkmenistan veterinary service participated in a regional seminar for heads of veterinary and phytosanitary services of the Central Asian states from April 4 to 6.

As reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the seminar was organized within the framework of the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA).

The Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Latvia and the Riga Technical University experts familiarized specialists from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan with the concept of developing professional skills, innovative methods and improving technological innovations in the work process.

The preparation and coordination of plans for joint training and the introduction of e-learning modules for employees of veterinary structures was one of the important outcomes of the seminar, notes the source.
