Russia to send 12 tons of medical supplies to Turkmenistan as humanitarian aid

Pursuant to the order of the Russian government the Ministry of Emergency Situations is scheduled to provide humanitarian aid to Turkmenistan, the Ministry website reports.

On 1 April, 2021 medical supplies with a total weight of about 12 tons will be delivered to Ashgabat as humanitarian aid in a plane of IL-76 operated Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations. The cargo is made up of medications, protective clothes, masks and medical equipment.

Let us recall that in May 2020 humanitarian aid for the value of $1 million was delivered to Turkmenistan from Astrakhan.
