Student from Turkmenistan helped save over 20 people in the tragedy in Perm

A student from Turkmenistan, Ovezberdy Sabyrov, helped more than 20 students evacuate when shooting at the Perm State National Research University (PGNIU). This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the official website of the university.

At the time of the tragedy on September 20, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Chemistry of Perm State National Research University was on the 1st floor of the building and was waiting for the start of classes.

Suddenly there was the sound of gunfire. When the Turkmen student saw that the shooter had already wounded the guard, it became clear that the students were not joking, the situation was very serious.

The student gathered all his Turkmen and Russian friends, at the same time grabbing everyone who was nearby, and led him towards building 7.There, employees showed a group of about 20 people an evacuation exit.

Having appeared next to the emergency exit of building 7, Sabyrov saw that he would not be able to run out first and call for help as soon as possible: there were too many people at the exit.

Ovezberdy instantly decided to jump from the 1st floor out the window.Once on the street, the student ran off campus, warned passers-by about the danger along the way and called the police.

During the service, he showed himself only on the positive side, as evidenced by the endurance of their service characteristics. Sabyrov enjoyed authority and was distinguished by diligence in his daily official activities.
