Yesterday, the 15th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) has taken place under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the capital.The new luxurious hotel “Garagum” with multipurpose business centre where all conditions both for reception of honoured guests, and for conduction of important international actions are created, became the venue for the summit.
In the Summit, which Turkmenistan hosts as the country presiding in ECO during the current year, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Kirghiz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part.
Prime Minister Askar Mamin represented the Republic Kazakhstan at the forum.ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri also has taken part in the Summit.
