The news outlet “Turkmenportal” with reference to Turkmenistan’s Muslim Spiritual Authority reports that the ban on attending mosques in the country, imposed with the view of preventing the spread of infectious diseases, has been extended until 1 January 2021.
Turkmen mosques were closed on 13 July, 2020 and a negative COVID-19 test certificate is required to visit holy places.
