President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the first in the new year, 2021, held under the motto “Turkmenistan - Homeland of Peace and Trust”, a working meeting on digital video communication with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, hakims of velayats and the capital.
The agenda included issues of further socio-economic development of the country, the implementation of fundamental reforms in the agro-industrial complex, the construction of facilities, the opening of which is timed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland, as well as a program of events planned to be held in honor of the motto of this year.
The President of Turkmenistan was the first to call the hakim of the city of Ashgabat Y. Gylyjov and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh.Durdylyev, who is in charge of the capital, to a live video link.
The head of the metropolitan administration reported to the head of state on the work of the relevant services to ensure the proper functioning of the heating system on cold winter days, as well as on the pace of construction of various facilities, the commissioning of which is timed to the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.
After hearing the report, the leader of the nation focused the attention of the Deputy Prime Minister and the hyakim on the operational state of heating systems in residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, as well as energy supply in the capital, giving them specific instructions in this regard.
The relevant leaders were instructed to keep under unremitting control the quality and timely execution of works on new buildings in Ashgabat, scheduled for opening on the occasion of the anniversary date.
At the same time, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Ovezov was summoned for a direct connection, who reported on the implementation of the instructions given by the head of state earlier on the development of the transport and communication industry.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to actively introduce advanced digital technologies in the spheres of transport and communications.
Then the hyakim of the Ahal velayat Y. Gurbanov reported on seasonal field work, measures taken to improve the social and living standards of the population, the successful implementation of the spring sowing campaign, and ensure the wintering of livestock.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to keep under unremitting control the issues of uninterrupted heat supply in residential buildings, schools and kindergartens, as well as the provision of drinking water, electricity and gas to the population of etraps, cities and villages of the velayat.
Corresponding orders were given to the head of the regional administration on the care of wheat fields in accordance with agrotechnical standards on schedule and at the proper level.
The leader of the nation also gave instructions on the establishment of future harvests of various crops. Agricultural machinery and units that will be used for sowing cotton should be fully prepared, the head of state noted.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also gave instructions on the timely and high-quality implementation of the works planned in the velayat for 2021, outlined in the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025” and in the National Rural Program.
Corresponding instructions were given to Deputy Prime Ministers Sh.Durdylyev and B.Ovezov.
Further, the hyakim of the Balkan velayat T. Atahalliev reported on the measures taken in the western region of the country to develop the agro-industrial sector, comprehensive preparation of land and equipment for spring sowing, as well as to improve the social and living standards of the population.
Stressing the importance of the reforms being carried out in the agro-industrial complex, the President of Turkmenistan pointed out the importance of making optimal use of the potential in the region to increase the productivity of agricultural production.
Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, inquiring about heat supply to residential buildings, schools and kindergartens in connection with the onset of cold weather, supplying the population with electricity, natural gas and drinking water in the velayat, instructed the hyakim to keep these issues under constant control.
The head of state also pointed out the importance of carrying out sanitary work in schools of the velayat, taking into account the ongoing winter holidays.
The leader of the nation noted the need for strict adherence to agricultural standards when caring for the fields sown with wheat, which is the key to obtaining a generous harvest.
Every effort should be made to establish future crops of agricultural crops, in particular, to maintain in proper operational condition the special equipment and implements that will be involved in sowing cotton.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave specific instructions to Deputy Prime Minister B. Ovezov, who oversees the region, and the hyakim to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of the work planned for this year in the velayat within the framework of the country's socio-economic development program for 2019-2025 and the National Rural Program.
Addressing Deputy Prime Ministers B.Ovezov and Sh.Durdylyev, the head of state instructed to keep under unremitting control the progress of work at the facilities of the region, scheduled for commissioning on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland.

Then the working meeting continued with the report of the hyakim of the Dashoguz velayat N. Nazarmyradov, who reported on the state of affairs in the region, the work carried out in the sowing fields in accordance with the agrotechnical requirements, the preparation of equipment for spring sowing, the measures taken to ensure satisfying and warm wintering of livestock.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that ensuring a happy and prosperous life of the people is a priority of state policy, stressing the need for systematic activities in this direction.

Annaberdiev reported on the state of affairs in the region, in particular, on seasonal agricultural work, caring for wheat in accordance with agrotechnical standards, land preparation, as well as equipment and implements that will be involved in the sowing campaign.
After hearing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that in the coming year, ensuring a happy and abundant life of the people remains an important state task, noting that issues of social security of the population should always be in the field of vision of the regional leadership.
The hyakim was instructed to take measures to ensure the reliable functioning of heating systems for various facilities, as well as a stable supply of drinking water, electricity and natural gas. In addition, it is necessary to carry out sanitary work in schools.
Speaking about the importance of timely implementation of seasonal agrotechnical measures, the head of Turkmenistan ordered to pay close attention to soil and climatic features in the cultivation of crops, the development of national agricultural traditions, which must be harmoniously combined with the achievements of modern science, having addressed the hyakim with appropriate instructions.

It was noted that work is being successfully carried out on the construction of an international fiber-optic communication system in the directions of Ymamnazar-Akina, Serhetabat-Turgundi and transit lines.
These works make it possible, together with the communication company of Afghanistan, to lay another line of international fiber-optic communication and ensure their functioning on a ring system, connecting it with the Herat-Akina line.
This will allow through Afghanistan to enter the communication systems of Pakistan, India and other countries, to increase cooperation in the communication sphere, to expand the information horizon of our country.
For this purpose, the appropriate communication equipment has been installed on the Mary-Serhetabat line, and the Ymamnazar-Akina and Serhetabat-Turgundi international fiber-optic communication systems are in full readiness for commissioning.

In particular, a gas compressor unit at the Malaý gas field in the Lebap velayat, the Akina-Andkhoy railway line, the Ymamnazar-Akina international fiber-optic communication system, as well as Serhetabat-Turgundi in the Mary velayat, power lines from the Kerma power plant to the Turkmen Afghan border.
