A meeting of the Government was held on May 6, during which the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the construction and industrial complex, Ch. Purchekov, to speed up the construction center of the Ahal velayat.
A new 1,5 billion USD administrative center Ahal is being built 30 kilometers southwest of the Turkmen capital. Construction is carried out in two stages.
In the new velayat center 2-, 5-, 7- and 9- storey “smart” residential buildings will be built, controlled via a smartphone and designed for 12 thousand 324 families.The urban infrastructure will also include a complex of social and other facilities: kindergartens, schools and other specialized educational institutions in the areas of healthcare, culture, trade and services, sports facilities, office buildings, etc., and also transport and communication and engineering technical systems.
Let us remind you that the start of the implementation of this large-scale project was given in April 2019. The construction of the first stage of the administrative center of the Ahal velayat should be completed in December this year by the Day of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality.
