The President of Turkmenistan took part in the nationwide Yovar (community cleanup)

Today in Ashgabat, with the participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a nationwide yovar was held, timed to coincide with the 140th anniversary of the founding of the Turkmen capital.

Early in the morning, the head of state arrived in the southern part of the capital, between Archabil and Chandybil avenues.

The President of Turkmenistan was greeted by Vice-premiiers, Chairman of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh, Deputy Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh (People’s Council of National Assembly), heads of military and law enforcement agencies.

Having started caring for the seedlings, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov launched a mass improvement campaign.

Nationwide Yovar (Community Cleanup) - a large-scale action, unfolded throughout the country, became a manifestation of the Turkmen people of love for their native land. They looked after the young plantings, put things in order and cleanliness everywhere. There were many young people among the participants of the community cleanup.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in a confidential conversation with the fosters of the “Palace of Orphans” participating in the environmental action, as well as graduating high school graduates, asked about the life of the children, how they see themselves in the future, where they are going to study, what specialty they dream of.

During interesting conversation, the children turned to the head of the Turkmen state with various questions of interest to them and received comprehensive answers.

Each of them shared their innermost desires and dreams. Someone wants to become a teacher, someone is interested in working in a library or becoming a doctor, doing business. Many would like to become programmers, especially since this specialty is in demand now.

While instructing the children and giving advices, the head of state focused on the need to be hardworking, strive for knowledge, especially in the chosen specialty. And, addressing the girls, the Turkmen leader stressed that they should continue the centuries-old traditions of Turkmen craftswomen.

Continuing the conversation with the youth, the Turkmen leader urged the children not only to study and work, but also to play sports, which will help to achieve a lot in life.

While giving instructions to younger generation of Turkmenistan citizens, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the state will continue to focus on issues related to the studies and further life of the fosters of the “Palace of Orphans”. As noted, the future of the country, its well-being depends on how they will work.

Fosters of the “Palace of Orphans”, expressing their sincere gratitude for their paternal care, assured President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that they would become a comprehensively developed, highly educated, physically strong and spiritually rich young generation and would contribute to the prosperity of their native country.

The head of state, referring to the vice premiers in charge of the education, health care and sports systems participating in the current action, as well as to the Minister of Education, instructed to take all necessary measures so that the fosters of the “Palace of Orphans” received a good upbringing and education, science and possessed modern technology.

All these issues should be in the center of special attention, the Turkmen leader emphasized.

Then, at the request of the young participants of the environmental action, the President of Turkmenistan took a photo with them as a souvenir. The head of state, wishing the youth great success, left the place of event.

On behalf of the Turkmen leader, the fosters of the “Palace of Orphans” were presented with gifts.

Today, the nationwide Yovar was held in all velayats of the country, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
