The Protocol on the exchange of documents and information on the customs value of goods was signed by the Heads of the customs services of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation

The Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, in order to create favorable conditions for trade between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation and to counter the evasion of full payment of customs duties, taxes and other obligatory payments, signed a Protocol on the exchange of documents and information on customs the value of goods transported between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.

The document was signed within the framework of a working meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation held on March 30, 2021 in Moscow.The Protocol will allow for effective customs control of the customs value of goods transported between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
