Between six higher educational establishments of the country the videoconference Turkmenistan-United Nations: cooperation for development and peace, dated to the 25th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan and the third anniversary of the approval of the Concept of improving the teaching of foreign languages, took place.
In the action, the initiator of which was the chair of world languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan acted, besides higher educational institutions- organizer, teachers and students of the Turkmen national institute of world languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi, Turkmen state university, International university for the humanities and development, the State medical university of Turkmenistan named after Murad Garryev, Turkmen agricultural university named after S.A.Niyazov, took part.
During the space bridge teachers of foreign languages in their speeches told about the Turkmen neutrality, its political, diplomatic, economic, welfare and humanitarian aspects.
Participants of the videoconference also familiarised with successful realisation in the country of the Concept of improving the teaching of foreign languages, approved on December 22, 2017, and the continuous creation continuous, consecutive and interconnected system of education, including in a distant format. Issues of teaching of foreign languages in higher educational institutions of the country were discussed.
At the end of the online meeting representatives of higher schools-participants, having underlined the role of teaching of foreign languages in modern quality education and preparation of experts of international level, expressed mutual confidence of further cooperation and exchange of experience between national educational institutions in the field of teaching of foreign languages, perfection of techniques of training and introduction of new modern technologies in educational process.
