Toyota breaks contracts and returns money for automobiles

For the first time in its history, Toyota Motor company breaks the contracts with buyers for cars sales. As per news.drom.ru, customers who have paid for Toyota Harrier crossovers are being refunded with an offer to return to purchase in September 2022.

The reason for this decision is the ongoing shortage of electronic components. So, due to local outbreaks of coronavirus, contractors from China continue to disrupt the supply of components to Toyota car factories located in Japan.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has already delayed the delivery of paid cars, but it has not reached such a radical measure as the termination of contracts on the initiative of the automobile producer before.
