Türkmen-Galkan Produces Footwear Worth Over 19 Million Manats

Türkmen-Galkan shoe factory in Turkmenistan’s Ahal velayat produced over 19.037 million manats worth of products in January-June 2021.

The modern equipment installed in the production workshops of the plant, and the use of environmentally friendly raw materials in production has a positive effect on the quality of its footwear products, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.

Founded in 1997, the Türkmen-Galkan company in 2020 began the production of such types of footwear as moccasins, boots, and children's shoes.

A sectoral comprehensive program of production and technical re-equipment of textile enterprises and the creation of innovative industries based on local natural resources has been developed in order to implement the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan.

Until 2025, it is planned to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of more than 30 projects in the textile industry.
