Turkmen Agricultural Producer Harvests 8 Tons of Cucumber

Entrepreneur Baypolat Ergeshov harvested and delivered to consumers 8 tons of cucumber grown in his greenhouse complex in Turkmenistan’s Lebap velayat, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.

The complex includes 12 greenhouses for growing tomatoes and 5 greenhouses for growing tomatoes. The greenhouse also grows bell peppers.

The entrepreneur also harvested 1 ton of Ibn Sina variety of tomatoes last year.

During a government meeting of Turkmenistan on January 29, Vice-Premier Chary Gylyjov noted in his report to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan plans to implement 88 projects within the framework of the draft Program for increasing the production of food and agricultural products for 2021-2025.
