“Turkmenistan” Airlines purchased AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter simulator from Spain

The Spanish company Entrol, in partnership with the Turkmen engineering company “Ussat-Inzhener”, will supply a new generation AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter simulator to Turkmenistan.

The H39 FNPT II MCC simulator will be installed by the summer of 2023 on the territory of the “Turkmen Airlines” training complex in Ashgabat, reports AirMed&Rescue.

The AgustaWestland AW139-based trainer will be equipped with the latest Entrol technologies, including a six-channel 200ºx70º FOV projection system, High Realism Vibration system (which fully simulates the vibration level of a real AW189) and an automated training program for evaluating the results of classes.

The new simulator will improve the quality of training for pilots of “Turkmenistan” Airlines.

AgustaWestland AW139 is an English-Italian twin-engine multipurpose helicopter. The AW139 is a next-generation medium twin-engine helicopter that offers high performance and unsurpassed safety features.
