Turkmenistan extended restrictions on the operation of trade, catering and religious institutions

Turkmenistan, in view of the difficult epidemiological situation in the region and in the world, has extended the previously imposed restrictions on the operation of trade facilities, public catering and religious institutions until the end of this year.

Thus, a restraint is put upon activity of trade (with the exception of stores selling foodstuffs and everyday goods) and catering (banquet halls, restaurants, cafes and canteens) enterprises in the country until January 2021.

In addition, mosques and places of worship will remain closed until January 1, 2021.

Previously, restrictions were placed on activities of trade, catering and religious institutions until December 1, 2020.
