Turkmenistan is the first in Central Asia to have registered Sputnik V vaccine

The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan registered on Monday, January 18, Sputnik V vaccine and issued a corresponding certificate.

Turkmenistan has become the first country in Central Asia which has officially approved the application of Sputnik V vaccine in its territory, Kirill Dmitriev, director general of the Russian Direct Investment Fund told.

Partners have highly appreciated safety and efficiency of the vaccine which for today is one of the leading world preparations to combat COVID and is already approved by the state regulators in different regions of the world, noted Dmitriev.

We are convinced that population vaccination by the checked up preparation Sputnik V , created on the basis of well-studied platform of human adenovirus vectors, is one of key elements in prevention of distribution of COVID infection the site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan refers to his word.

For today Sputnik V vaccine is approved to application more than in 10 countries of the world.
