President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected medical helicopter ANSAT, which was delivered to our country and designated for provision emergency medical services to the population.The head of the state has come to helipad of medical facilities located in the south of the country for inspection of new equipment of medical aviation, which was produced by Kazan Helicopter Plant (the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation) at the work order of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency.
Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry N.Amannepesov expressed gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for permanent attention to development of healthcare system highlighting that new helicopter is an excellent gift to the residents of the capital and all Turkmenistan citizens on the threshold of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat and 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Reporting on the main technical specifications of the helicopter, the minister has noted that it designated for provision of emergency medical services in urban conditions, rapid transportation of patients to specialized clinics.
This helicopter is provided with modern equipment for the first and emergency medical aid and intensive care on the spot including to citizens who received injuries.The head of the state has studied in details the work of specialized diagnostic and health monitoring equipment on board the helicopter.
In particular, such parameters as ECG, content of oxygen and carbon dioxide in patient’s body, blood pressure and other are displayed on the monitor using special sensors.During the presentation, the minister of health protection and medical industry has informed good news about successful first kidney transplantation operation made in our country.
One of close relatives of the person, who have suffered from renal failure for several years, was a donor of the kidney.This complicated surgery has been made by Turkmen specialists.
At present time, the condition of the patient and donor is satisfactory, they are under medical monitoring.Having accepted the news with satisfaction, head of the state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov cordially congratulated medical personnel noting that this surgery is a big success of our doctors and health protection sphere.
At the same time, Chairman of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency D.Saburov has reported on work for intensification of bilateral cooperation with profile facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation for development of civil aviation of our country.
It was informed that supply of helicopters, which are efficient in climate local conditions, is among the utmost measures undertaken under the agreements reached on the highest level.Having listened to the report, the head of the state requested to continue targeted work ordering Chairman of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency D.
Saburov and Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry N.Amannepesov to study the opportunity to buy similar equipment for all regions of the country after practical tests of new helicopter.
