Turkmenistan, Vietnam Look to Create Joint Working Group on Construction

Proposals on the creation of a Turkmen-Vietnamese working group on construction were considered during a meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday of the Turkmen delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vepa Hajiyev with the leadership of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam.

The meeting participants exchanged views on the areas of trade and economic cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan said in its press release.

The side stated that the two countries have great potential for expanding and diversifying trade, attracting investments from both the state and private businesses.

Industry, agriculture, textiles, and construction were identified among the priorities of the areas of cooperation. The proposal to intensify the work of the relevant departments of the two countries in order to reach specific agreements were also made during the meeting.
