Turkmenistan will participate in the meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS countries

Turkmenistan will participate in the XXXVII meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS member states, which will be held on September 8-9 at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan.

The representatives of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Belarus, Russia also will participate in the event, reported on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan.

The priority areas of cultural and humanitarian cooperation and also the implementation of the main projects and action plans, adopted within the framework of the CIS in the field of culture will be discussed during the meeting.

On September 8, at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held the official opening of the International exhibition ART-EXPO of the CIS member states under the motto “Folk art in the ART-space”.

The exhibition is held every two years for three days and is aimed to strengthening the humanitarian cooperation.
