Georgian PM to visit Turkmenistan

Georgian Prime Minister Georgi Kvirikashvili plans to pay an official visit to Turkmenistan in the near future, the press service of the Georgian government said in a message.

It was announced at the meeting of Georgi Kvirikashvili with Turkmen Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov in Tbilisi on July 17.

Within the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation and details of the upcoming visit were discussed. Special attention was paid to the development of bilateral cooperation in economy, transport and energy.

Moreover Kvirikashvili invited Turkmen Foreign Minister to attend the Silk Road Forum, which will be held in Tbilisi in the fall of 2017.
