President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved a number of personnel decisions linked with the creation of the Ministry of Industry and Communication, to which transport agencies were included, Trend reports referring to published documents.
The ownership forms of these agencies have been changed. They have been transformed into joint-stock companies and privatized.
Thus, the presidential decree approved the decision of the general meeting of shareholders of the "Turkmenhowayollary" (Turkmen Airlines) agency on the election of Dowran Saburov as chairman of the agency.
Also approved was the decision of the general meeting of shareholders of the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” (Turkmen Communications) agency on the election of Bayramgeldy Ovezov as chairman, along with those of the "Turkmendemiryollary" (Turkmen Railways) agency on the election of Azat Atamyradov, and the "Turkmenawtoulaglary" (Turkmen Highways) agency on the election of Orazdurdy Suhanov as chairmen of the respective agencies.
All of the aforementioned previously headed relevant departments of state subordination.
