Turkmenistan continues preparations to showcase its economic achievements

Preparations for the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of Turkmenistan dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the country’s independence were discussed in Turkmenistan as part of the government meeting, Trend reports referring to the Nebit-Gaz, online newspaper of the Turkmen Oil and Gas Complex.

More than 70 ministries, departments, enterprises, organizations, administrations, as well as members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, will take part in the exhibition scheduled for Sept. 23-24 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition will showcase the success achieved over the years of independence in industry and energy, transport and construction, agriculture and communications, trade and services, in the financial and banking sectors etc.

Domestic manufacturers will demonstrate import-substituting and export-oriented products that are competitive in international markets. The results of socio-economic reforms will be reflected in the expositions telling about science and education, health care, sports and tourism, culture, transformations in the regions of Turkmenistan and in Ashgabat.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the exposition should widely present the fundamental transformations carried out over 28 years of sovereign development in all areas.
