Turkmen officials met with Dominican Republic’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to India Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos in Ashgabat, the Turkmen foreign ministry said in a message Sept. 20.
According to the message, the sides discussed the issues of further accreditation of the ambassador in Turkmenistan with a residence in a third country.
During the meeting, the views on the development of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian spheres and tourism sector were also exchanged.
"The sides stressed the need to bring bilateral ties to a higher level, which meets the long-term interests of two countries," the message said.
