The Head of Turkmenistan addressed the participants of the event with welcoming speech and cordially congratulated them on the rally starting on September 11.We host this international sport celebration Amul Hazar 2018 and welcome the sportsmen who arrived to participate in the competitions in Turkmen land from other countries and other guests, the Head of the State said.
Organization of the rally in the year under “Turkmenistan the Heart of the Great Silk Road” slogan indicates deserving roole of our state in development of the world motor sport, the Leader of the Nation noted.
Despite the fact that it was not long since the first level of development of this sport in our country, larges-scale work has been done in this direction.
In his speech, the President of Turkmenistan described the route of the rally, which overall length is 1,571 kilometres.The racers will see unique nature of Karakum Desert, which is one of the biggest in the world, and will feel unique originality and charming beauty of its endless spaces.
Having started the rally from Lebap Velayat, you would feel the magnificence of ancient Amul land, the President continued addressing the sportsmen.It has the biggest in the region river Jeytun and as is known from the history, the ancient stronghold on its bank was a part of the city with developed culture, farming and trade relations.
After, the participants of the rally will make a stop in Mary Velayat.Scientific sources proves that the city, which was called MAru-Shakhu-Jahan in the past, has not only regional importance but also was one of the centre of the world civilization.
The history witnesses that Ancient Merv played an important role in the development of the world civilization.After, the route of the rally along the Silk Road will cross the territory of Ahal Velayat with the Karakum Glare camping site.
This place of the desert is very beautiful.The fire burning there gave name to the place, which is one of the wonders of the world.This fire in the centre of the desert is the symbol of cordiality of Turkmen nation, the President noted.
After, following historical route, the participants of the rally will visit Dashoguz region.The camping site in the velayat is called Altyn Asyr Turkmen Lake.It has the lake shining in the beans next to it.
New flora and fauna, enriching the diversity of desert life, have been formed around the lake.Then, the racers will continue the journey across Balkan Velayat with Sport camping site.
Final stage of the race will lay along the Balhan spurs and the Caspian coast.The raid will finish in Avaza National tourist zone, which is considered to be sanatorium pearl of Asia.
The magnificence of this place, good traditions and hospitality of our people will be remembered forever, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, having expressed the confidence that Amul Hazar 2018 rally would serve to rapprochement of the nations, having strengthened the friendship and cooperation.
