14.01.2020 | Turkmenistan and UN adopt 2020 joint work

The ceremony of signing the documents took place in frames of the International conference “Turkmenistan and international organizations: cooperation in the name of peace and development” held in Ashgabat with the participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Among the documents signed are: 2020 Work Plan “Enhanced Legislative Framework on the Rights of the Child” between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Survival and well-being of young children” between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Quality Inclusive Early Childhood Education” between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Advanced social protection system for children” between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Enhancing access to quality data” between the State Committee for Statistics of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Coordination and monitoring of the rights of the child” between the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Protection and promotion of the rights of the child” between the Office of the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund; 2020 Work Plan for the projects “Enhancing access to the reproductive health of adolescents” and “Assistance to strengthening the system and mechanisms for gender equality” between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Population Fund; 2020 Work Plan for the projects “Improving the quality of integrated reproductive health services” and “Disaggregated data for sustainable national development” between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Population Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Enhancing access to the reproductive health of adolescents” between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Population Fund; 2020 Work Plan “Enhancing access to the reproductive health of adolescents” and “Assistance to strengthening the system and mechanisms for gender equality” between the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Population Fund; 2020 annual joint Action Plan under the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Office for Cooperation in Coordinating the Emergency Preparedness and Response.
