14.09.2017 | Ashgabat Asian Games brings back Eurasian champion in kickboxing to the ring

After a four-year break, the legendary kickboxer from Kyrgyzstan, 35-year-old Alen Ofoyo, will perform at the Games Ashgabat 2017.Since 2013, having won a fight with an opponent from Turkey, the European, Asian and Eurasian champion in kickboxing, decided to leave professional sports and engage in coaching activities.

Over the years, the athlete has not lost his form.Alen trained Kyrgyz kickboxers for international tournaments as coach and sparring partner.In Ashgabat, Alen Ofoyo (weight category 79 kg) will compete in point fighting in Muaythai Kickboxing Arena on 24 September. 153 athletes of the national team of Kyrgyzstan will contest in 17 sports: national Turkmen wrestling, athletics, swimming, wrestling, basketball, belt wrestling, billiard, chess, dance sport, jumping, futsal, jujitsu, kickboxing, kurash, Thai boxing, sambo, taekwondo.
