16.08.2017 | Turkmen leader and the head of the company "Cifal" outlined the priority areas of cooperation

In the conversation, the head of the state noted the interest of our country in mutually beneficial cooperation with the world's leading companies specializing in various fields, including "Cifal", which proved itself as a reliable partner of Turkmenistan in implementing significant national social and economic programs.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for further interaction taking into account the accumulated experience of joint productive work.Among the main areas of partnership were identified the oil and gas sector, industrial and civil construction, consulting and expert services.

Speaking about the growing interest shown to modern Turkmenistan by the big world and, in particular, European business, the guest noted that this is due both to the enormous economic potential of the dynamically developing country and to the open and neighborly foreign policy pursued by the Turkmen leader aimed at strengthening peace, stability, creation of favorable conditions for general well-being and prosperity.

In this regard, Mr.Gilles Remy stressed that his company intends to increase productive cooperation with Turkmenistan, which has been actively developing for 25 years.A number of large-scale infrastructure projects of national and international importance were also discussed, including the construction of the transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI).

The head of "Cifal" informed the head of the state about the ongoing work on the design of TAPI in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which is carried out jointly with the company "ILF" (Germany).

Welcoming the constructive approach to cooperation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan, which relies on the latest achievements of scientific and technical thought and innovative technologies, is always open for productive business contacts with representatives of the world business.

In conclusion, the head of the state and the head of the company "Cifal" exchanged good wishes, expressing confidence in the continuation of the mutually beneficial partnership.
