Our young athletes showed excellent results at the international competitions that take place in Antalya, Turkey as part of the archery training session.In particular, in 18 meter-distance archery competitions the gold medal was awarded to Ezizmuhammet Sahedov, a 4th year pupil of general school No. 27 of Ashgabat city.
Mekanhan Yazberdiyev, a 10th year pupil of genera school No. 12 of Ashgabat city won the silver medal.Successful in 18 meter-distance archery competitions among the adults were representatives of the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan Alexander Chemarin, who took second place in the classical bow archery in a mixed team event and third place in an individual event, and Georgiy Agiyarov, who won silver in the compound bow archery in a mixed team event and was 2nd in an individual event.
Ogulsurai Kakyshova, a student of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan also performed successfully at the competitions, having won the silver medal in the classical bow archery in a mixed team event.
