The first graduation of high rank officers of the Military Academy as well as another graduate of the cadets of high educational institutes of military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan Military and Naval Institutes of the Ministry of Defence, Border Guard Institute, Institute of National Security and the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, were held on June 16.
The graduates of the faculty of military medicine of the State Medical University has also joined the ranks of the officers of the country.As per tradition, the honouring of the officers was held at the square in front of the Monument of the Constitution.
In his congratulation message addressed to the graduates, commanders, professors and teachers of the Military Academy, high educational institutes of military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the defenders of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country have to be deserving successors of the traditions of the great sons of Turkmen nation, to master military art, to learn to operate skilfully modern military machines and equipment.
In ceremonial atmosphere, the graduates of the Military Academy received the diplomas and badges and the graduates of high educational institutes of military and law enforcement agencies received officer certificates.
The military doctrine of independent neutral Turkmenistan outlines the main directions of the activity of military and law enforcement structures taking into account neutral status and peace-loving foreign course of the state.
The Head of the State highlights that provision of the integrity of the borders of the Motherland, creation of favourable conditions for implementation of large-sale reforms aimed at the improvement of international authority and social and economic growth of the country, improvement of the life level of Turkmen people are the main objectives of security forces.
Today, the cadets of security forces successfully master educational innovations, develop combat skills and are brought up in the spirit of patriotism and selfless love of the Motherland.The state allocates enormous sums for the construction of new buildings of specialized military universities and their provision for training of educated, physically and spiritually developed generation of young warriors.
Today, they have modern computer and multimedia equipment allowing improving learning process in the context of modern realities.Highly appreciating the input of military and law enforcement agencies in the strengthening of the independence and neutrality, the State provides comprehensive support to them, makes all necessary conditions for service and improvement of life of military personnel and their families.
