194 people in CIS observer mission to monitor Russian presidential election

Ilhom Nematov, who heads the CIS observer mission, at a meeting with Vladislav Davankov, presidential candidate of the New People party, reported on the composition of the mission.

“Our mission numbers 200 people, but to be precise, 194”, - Nematov clarified.

The presidential election in Russia is scheduled for 17 March 2024. Voting will be held over three days: March 15, 16 and 17.

Four candidates registered by the Russian Central Election Commission are running for the post of the head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin. This is reported by TASS.
