2026 FIFA World Cup logo unveiled

The International Football Federation (FIFA) has unveiled the logo for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The presentation took place today at a special event in Los Angeles (USA), which was attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and former Brazil striker Ronaldo.

For the first time in history, the emblem depicts the cup itself and the year of the tournament.

The 2026 World Cup will be held for the first time in three countries at the same time - the USA, Mexico and Canada. It will last 39 days. In total, the teams will play 104 matches. According to the calendar, the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final will be played on Sunday 19 July 2026.

The national team of Turkmenistan will play in the qualifying tournament of the 2026 World Cup. The AFC has eight direct tickets to the tournament and one more team will play the intercontinental play-offs.

For the first time, 48 teams will play in the final stage of the 2026 World Cup.

We remind that at the moment the world champion in football is Argentina.
