President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left on working trip to Mary Velayat where he held offsite session of the Cabinet of Ministers.In Mary International Airport, the Head of the State was met by the officials.
Having greeted the participants, the Head of the State talked to the elders, asked about their life and health and expressed his interest in their wishes and requests, mood, current affairs and concerns of Mary residents.
in trustful conversation, the President of Turkmenistan made special mention of priority directions of social and economic development of Mary Velayat and objectives of large-scale reforms expanded in the country.
Having mentioned that many important events like launch ceremonies of another stage of construction of Turkmenistan Afghanistan Pakistan India gas line and power and fibre optic line Turkmenistan Afghanistan Pakistan as well as opening ceremony of new railway Serhetabat Turgundy are planned on February 23, Turkmen leader congratulated the elders on coming historical events.
All of these is good foundation for establishment of international political and economic cooperation; it supports successful development of Central Asian region and serves as important factor of integration processes based on principles of good neighbourhood and mutual benefits, the Head of the State said.
Turkmen leader noted the symbolism of the fact that current events are held in ancient Turkmen land in Mary Velayat, via which historically famous city Maru-Shahu Jahan that used to be the centre of the Great Silk Road in the Middle ages, the main tracks of this route, which we revive in new merit nowadays, used to run.
Our achievements are aimed at the provision of prosperity and wealth of the nation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said and expressed his gratitude to the elders for their input to consolidation of the unity and integrity of the society.
On behalf of all people of Mary Velayat, the representatives of the elders expressed the gratitude to the Head of the State for his restless care of improvement of wellbeing and life level of Turkmenistan citizens and wished him strong health and new outstanding success in his titanic work.
Performances of art collectives were held at the same place.Having expressed the gratitude to the artists, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went by vehicle to the Runiyet Palace where he held offsite session of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments as well as the hyakims of some velayats.
Topical subject of home policy have been discussed during the session.Going over to the agenda, the President of Turkmenistan gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M.
Babayev who reported on the realization of the Programme of development of oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan until 2030.Information on the preparation to the 25th session of the Board Committee of Turkmenistan Afghanistan Pakistan India gas main planned to be held in Mary was also presented.
Number of subjects related to technical, legal and financial aspects of cooperation is to be reviewed at the session that will gather the delegations of participating countries and representatives of Asian Development Bank.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted special importance of the construction of TAPI transnational pipeline.The Head of the State noted that this pipeline would be important link of modern gas transportation infrastructure, which Turkmenistan modernize and develops taking into account growing demands of various branches of national economy as well as the world demand in energy carriers.
In this context, the President focused on the subjects of steadfast development of national fuel and energy complex, which solution is to support integrated industrialization of the country, increment of the volumes of competitive production in the world markets and improvement of economic power of Turkmenistan and wellbeing of the population accordingly.
The Head of the State addressed the Vice-premier with the assignments on further modernization of production infrastructure of oil and gas industry, diversification of national fuel and energy complex including by the construction of modern petrochemical facilities.
After, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers D.Amangeldiyev made report on the work in the spheres under his supervision and on the fulfilment of the assignments given by the Head of the State.
It was also reported on the measures taken for the development of electrical energy industry.Summing up the information, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that Turkmenistan has great potential in this sphere that is aimed not only at the provision of the demands of its dynamically growing economy but also to be the leading exporter of electrical energy in the region.
Fundamental modernization is carried out in the industry along with the establishment of solid foundation of the development of production and social base.Large-scale projects are implemented, new power lines are laid, distribution substations are built and entire system of energy provision of the capital, other cities and settlements of country is renovated under the Government support.
Having focused on the subjects of energy cooperation, to which Turkmenistan pays special attention, the Leader of the Nation noted that diversification of energy routes is a strategic priority in this sphere.
Having highlighted that at present time, the issues of equal, uninterrupted and guaranteed access to energy sources and the ways of its supply gained global scale, the Head of the State noted that constructive initiatives of our country related to the provision of global energy security are aimed to achieve this purpose.

Having noticed that development of modern types of communication are very important both for the economy and the population of our country, Turkmen leader pointed out the necessity of the development of this sphere based on advanced technologies and modern equipment.
Having highlighted that Turkmenistan pays exclusive attention to the consolidation of fruitful cooperation with neighbouring states in the region, which it connected not only by deep historical roots, similarity of culture and traditions but also mutual economic interest, the Head of the State ordered the Vice-premier to take all measures for the provision of high level of organization of all planned events.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers P.Agamyradov reported on the activity for the development of education and science, health protection, sport sphere system as well as for realization of the objectives of youth affairs carried out in accordance with the orders of the Head of the State.
Giving instructions to the Vice-premier on the formation of intellectually, physically and morally developed generation and on provision of actual contribution of science to rapid diversification and stable development of the economy of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that development of social sphere is a main mechanism of the improvement of human capital and life quality of Turkmen citizens.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E.Orazgeldiyev reported on the situation in different sectors of agricultural complex and preparation of branch departments to the events in Mary and Lebap Velayats.
Summing up the report, the Head of the State ordered to pay utmost attention to the improvement of the culture of agriculture as an important aspect of integrated reform of agricultural complex in Turkmenistan.

Big cultural programmes dedicated to International Women Day, NationalSpring Holiday and other remarkable dates have been planned.Conferences, concerts, theatre performances, meetings, exhibitions of visual and decorative and applied arts, contests and others are timed to these dates.
Big celebration is planned for National Spring Holiday, which traditions go deep to the ancient times, in Nowruz ýaýlasynyň ak öý building in Nowruz Valley, Ahal Velayat on March 21 22.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the policy in cultural sphere is one of the main conditions of the strategy of sustainable development of the country.

For this purpose, the Government makes big investments to modernization, rearmament of the facilities, establishment of systematic long-term incentives for intensification of production capabilities and development of new directions of industrial growth of the country.
Focusing on the necessity of acceleration of the processes of diversification of productions, which have to be developed based on new technologies, rational and efficient use of own natural resources and study of the world macroeconomic situation in this sphere, the Head of the State ordered to take all measures for the provision of the quality and time of construction of strategic industrial complexes.
After, Chairperson of the Mejlis A.Nurberdiyeva informed on the activity of the Parliament on improvement of national legislation taking into account key objectives and targets of social and development of Turkmenistan.
The elaboration of the draft of relative documents are carried out in accordance with the assignments of the Head of the State on conducting of the first organizational session of the People’s Council in April this year.
Having noted that improvement of regulatory and legal base is the most important requirements of modern time, the Head of the State highlighted the importance of the expansion of international cooperation in this direction, study and thorough analysis of the best world practice for its further implementation to existing national legislation.
Speaking of high-level preparation of coming elections, the Head of the State noted the necessity of thorough development of all matters related to this social and political campaign.
After, Hyakim of Mary Velayat B.Annaberdiyev reported on the preparation to historically important events for the region.Having noted the commitment of Turkmenistan to beneficial and good neighbour relations, the President of Turkmenistan requested the Hyakim to take all necessary measures for the provision of high level of planned events.
Hyakim of Lebap Velayat B.Atahalliyev reported on the works carried out for successful solution of planned objectives of the programme of social and economic development of the velayat as well as on preparation to planned events.
Having highlighted that large-scale events would be entered in historical chronicle of the year held under the slogan “Turkmenistan the Heart of the Great Silk Road”, the Head of the State demanded the head of regional administration to approach the organisation of the events with full responsibility and gave number of instructions on this account.
Next, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R.Meredov who reported on the activity of the ministry under steadfast realization of the Concept of foreign course of neutral Turkmenistan in 2017 2023 and on the fulfilment of assignments given by the Head of the State.
It was also reported in the work for preparation to planned international events in the next few days.Summing up the report, the President of the country highlighted that steadily implementing the strategy of wide constructive cooperation meeting common interests, our country demonstrate practically the willingness to place its considerable peace-making and creative potential for the service to the humankind.
Large-scale infrastructural projects that are to support the consolidation of friendship, good neighbourhood and beneficial partnership in regional and global scale together with its main purpose including the solution of important economic and social objectives are aimed to achieve these targets.
Speaking of this, the President ordered the Vice-premier, the Head of Foreign Ministry to provide high organizational level of coming events as well as to continue systematic work for support and realization of specific proposals of our country aimed at expansion of international collaboration in different spheres.
