23.03.2020 | President of Turkmenistan addresses congratulations to President of Afghanistan

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on his re-election as the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

In his congratulatory address, the Turkmen leader expressed confidence that the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, based on mutual respect and trust, would develop and strengthen in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

Taking the opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan wished President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani good health, happiness and prosperity, as well as successes in his versatile activity in the name of progress and prosperity of fraternal Afghanistan.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also congratulated President of the IRA Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and the fraternal Afghan people on the International Day of Novruz, expressing the wishes for peace and prosperity.

The Turkmen leader noted that Novruz Bayram that symbolizes good neighborliness, unity, life in harmony with nature, served as the herald of a new day, a good start.The head of the Turkmen state emphasized this bright holiday, recognized as an integral part of the cultural heritage of mankind, that has absorbed high humanistic ideals, was of particular importance in strengthening friendship between peoples.
