A collection of three lifetime editions of Pushkin will be put up for auction for 6 million rubles

The first collection of three lifetime editions of A. S. Pushkin will be put up for auction. The works “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, “The Prisoner of the Caucasus” and “Poltava” will be presented at the upcoming auction on April 21. The initial cost of the lot will be 6 million rubles.

As notes the publication gazeta.ru, the poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila” (1820) will be presented on 142 pages, and also a handwritten sheet “Epilogue”, written by the poet during his exile to the Caucasus is attached to it.

The story "The Prisoner of the Caucasus" (1822) will be presented on 53 pages.

Pushkin wrote the poem “Poltava” in 1828, and a year later it was released in a circulation of 1,2 thousand copies.
