A competition for young talents was held in Ashgabat

A special music boarding school at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva hosted a competition “Halypa ýörelgesi şägirt göreldesi” (“The principle of a mentor an example to a student”) among students of music schools of the country.

The creative competition, organized by the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the Ministry of Culture of the country, celebrated the motto of the year “Turkmenistan the Homeland of Peace and Trust”.

The purpose of the competition was to identify talented children, enhance their performing skills, encourage and guide students of children’s music schools towards creativity in various fields of art.

The competition was held in the following majors: bakhshi, piano, string, wind, percussion, national and folk musical instruments. The competition jury was represented by teachers of the Specialized Music Boarding School.

By the decision of the jury, the competition was summed up and the winners were determined: pupils of the Ashgabat Children’s Art Schools No. 1 and No. 4 Hanbibi Rejepova and Maral Rahmanova were awarded the 3rd place. Hakmyrat Okuzov, a 5th grade pupil of the Children’s Art School № 6 of Ashgabat city took second place.

Young talents of the Ashgabat Art Schools Nos. 1, 3, 4 and 5 Dayanch Berdiev, Rahymberdi Garaberdiev, Victor Usachov, Myahri Charyhanova, Allanazar Saparmyradov won the first place, having shown the best performance.

Following the competition results, an awarding ceremony was held for the winners. The distinguished participants were awarded certificates of commendation and commemorative gifts from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
