A concert dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Aram Hachaturian will take place in Ashgabat

On December 1, a concert dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding composer of the 20th century Aram Hachaturyan will take place in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva.

Teachers and students of the conservatory take part in the concert. The program includes popular vocal and instrumental works by the composer, some of which will be performed in a new arrangement.

The concert starts at 18:30. Entry is open to everyone.

In his extensive creative heritage, Aram Khachaturian left a number of concerts for solo instruments with orchestra, orchestral works, ballets “Spartacus”, “Gayane”, “Happiness”, vocal and choral works, music for films and theatrical productions, songs. In his work, the composer sought to combine oriental folk melodies and rhythms with traditional European forms.
